So… I thought I would end Crypt Shyfter once I wrapped up the storyline I started out on. But this crappily animated show keeps on surprising me. I can’t let it go just yet.
So instead of ending the series, I’m going to wrap up the current story arc in Episode 17: Ragnarok, and keep the series going with a new adventure. I mean, I’ve got so many ideas for fantasy adventures, and Crypt Shyfter is literally the perfect outlet for those ideas- I can tell stories in short little bursts each week and it’s all animated so I can do whatever I want with it.
Need a sea monster? No problem! Giant battle scene? Simple! It all costs the same to make- nothing but free time! These stories would have been impossible for me to tell when I was producing live action short films because all those things would have cost so much money.
Now it’s all free!
And I’ve already got an established world and cast of characters to pull from, so why not just keep the story going instead of restarting new random shorts with a bunch of new characters that nobody knows or cares about?
I can just throw my existing characters into fun new situations and see how they deal with it.
Anyway, thanks for reading and sticking with Crypt Shyfter for 10 episodes so far. It really means a lot to me to have you along for the ride! And for any new folks reading this- WELCOME TO CRYPT SHYFTER! There’s a whole world of crazy fantasy adventure waiting for you here, so click play on one of those videos and join in the fun :D
